Passed Resolutions: March 9, 2026 University Senate
The University Senate passed several resolutions to amend the By-Laws, Rules & Regulations of the University Senate during its regular meeting on Monday, March 9, 2026. Details and full resolution documents are linked below:
- The Senate Scholastic Standards committee passed an amended resolution to update the Part-Time Dean’s List language (Article II.F.1). The full resolution is available here.
- The Senate Scholastic Standards committee presented and passed by 2/3rds majority vote to amend the Senate By-Laws (Article II.E.1) to include updated language and a chart of information. The full resolution is available here.
- The Senate CCC+ Committee presented and passed by 2/3rds majority vote to amend the Senate By-Laws (Article Ii.C.2.b) to remove language linking the Information, Digital, and Medial Literacy and Dialogue (IDML) competency directly within TOIs. The full resolution is available here.
